Ivan Lazarev President, CEO and co-founder, ITN International, Inc. (provider of bCard) During the last 21 years Mr. Lazarev has occupied key positions in the trade show lead management and registration services industry worldwide. In early 1999, he co-founded ITN International, an event marketing technology and full service company, which introduced the bCard System, the first ever web and smart card based registration and information management system to the trade show and exhibition industry. Over the last 7 years, ITN/bCard has serviced worldwide in excess of 1000 events, 2,500,000 attendees and over 12,000 exhibiting companies. Prior to ITN, he was Executive Vice-President at eExpo/RCS for 5 years and was responsible for marketing and management of more than 120 large tradeshows, including servicing more than 15,000 corporate exhibitors and 1,000,000 attendees each year. Under his guidance, RCS invested heavily in Internet/Web technology and high-end lead management solutions. As a result, eExpo came to be known as the technological leader in its field. Before eExpo/RCS, Ivan worked several years in Paris, France for VCS, Europe’s largest trade show information management company where he was Manager of International Business Development. He started and managed subsidiaries in Spain, Italy, Benelux, Germany and England. He was also instrumental in the acquisition by VCS of several US based companies. The international business for VCS represented about half of its $15 Million in sales. Ivan holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Arts & Metiers in Paris, France and a MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina. He is a frequent speaker at industry events (IAEM, SISO, Exhibitor Show, TS2, etc.) and has chaired several committees relating to new technologies and exhibition services. |
