Sean Guerre
Sean Guerre, President & CEO of The TradeFair Group, Inc., has 15 years experience in the tradeshow and conference management field. He has served in roles as diverse as exhibit sales, conference and project management, marketing and conference programming, including turnkey management of events. His responsibilities have included overall profit and loss responsibility, as well as budgeting, show accounting and forecasting. He currently directs Sales, Finance, Management & Conference functions for The TradeFair Group, as well as, alliances and business development.
The TradeFair Group produces 5 equity owned events and performs show management contracts for 3 associations and user groups in the energy industry. The TradeFair Group has also recently launched Media and Internet divisions to provide clients with turnkey information products.
In the first 5 years of operation, the team at TFG grew the business an impressive 177%, achieving the rank of #57 on the Houston 100 Fastest Growing Private Firms List in 2001.
In 2003 ELECTRIC POWER, one of TFG's largest events was named as a winner of the TradeShow Week Fastest 50 Award. The Fastest 50 award is given to the Fastest 50 growing tradeshows out of thousands held annually in North America.
TFG was recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work" by EXPO magazine in March of 2004.
Sean is a 1988 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where he received a BBA in Marketing. He is a member of AMA, BMA, SISO, IAEM, Greater Houston Partnership, Greater Houston Convention & Visitors Bureau, and serves on the boards of the International LNG Alliance, Greater Houston CEO Roundtable Program Planning Committee, and SISO Board of Directors; he serves as the 2005 SISO Executive Conference Chairman and on the Parish Council and Strategic Planning Committee for St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Sean is the proud father of two daughters, Erin and Mary Kate, and lives in Houston with Katy, his wife of 12 years.
