Tamara Christian
CEO
National Trade Productions, Inc.

Tamara has a long career with NTP that began in 1992 as a market research analyst. She held various positions in NTP's marketing department including marketing manager and director of marketing. In this capacity, she managed the marketing for several Tradeshow 200 events. In 1998, Tamara became the executive director of National Trade Productions' Managed Shows Division, managing the sales, marketing and operations functions for all client-based accounts.

In 2001, Tamara was named president of NTP, overseeing all events, new business development, strategic planning and direction. Under her guidance, NTP has doubled the number of managed shows and has brought significant increases in revenues to clients.  In that time, the company has launched three proprietary events, purchased the TS2 trade show and started the Creative Solutions Group (CSG).  In January 2007 Tamara became NTP’s Chief Executive Officer.

She is a frequent speaker in the industry, having been featured at SISO (Society of Independent Show Organizers), ECEF (Exhibition and Conference Executives), IAEM (International Association of Exposition Managers) and DMAW (Direct Marketing Association of Washington).  She is on the Board of Advisors for Executive Update Magazine and has been featured in Expo Magazine and Tradeshow Week.

Prior to joining NTP, Tamara served as a program manager for Input, Inc., an international consulting company for the federal and corporate information technology markets. She has an MBA from the George Washington University and a BS from the University of Richmond. She is a member of the International Association of Exposition Managers (IAEM) and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).  Tamara was named the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year in 2004 for her fundraising efforts and currently co-chairs a one million dollar fundraising campaign for the Society.
