Charles W. Allen has spent his adult life as a pioneering
businessman, investments professional, inventor, professional
writer, educator, sales trainer, publisher and public speaker.
He has launched numerous successful businesses since
departing the University of Alabama Graduate School of
Business in 1985. Countless exhibition industry leaders and
veterans credit Allen with creating the segment of the
exhibition industry that has come to be known as “Event Marketing.”
Sharing his knowledge and experience with others has
led Allen to lecture at colleges, conduct seminars, and
be a leading speaker at numerous major events. He has
worked with college professors to update their curriculum
to include the value of the meetings and events industry
as an effective marketing tool, as well as an excellent
career choice.
Charles has also recently received the honor of being
named Executive Director of the International
Economic Alliance (IEA). IEA originated at Harvard
University and is comprised of top leaders in
government as well as the international private sector.
IEA works in conjunction with the U.S. government
to promote U.S. economic relations with major trading
partner nations through Economic Summit & Forum
events at the Harvard Club in Cambridge, MA as well
as at the Stanford Club.
As for Allen’s personal life, he enjoys composing original
music, playing the piano by ear, writing poetry and movie
scripts, but most of all he enjoys spending time with friends
and family. |
