Cris has two decades of sales, marketing and management experience with conferences, exhibitions, tradeshows and corporate marketing events starting his career with COMDEX, which became the world's largest trade show before being sold for $864 million.

Cris is currently managing partner of Encore Media Partners, a boutique marketing agency he started to help conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and corporate marketing events use profiling, testing, tracking, measurement and analysis to get a better picture of their audiences and marketing campaign performance, and drive strategies which maximize target audience acquisition and ROI from marketing spends.

Prior to Encore, Cris was vice president of marketing at Shomex where he worked for more than ten years with the Shomex organization in producing over 300 events in the nation's top markets, attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees and generating millions of dollars of revenue from the Fortune 1000.  In his role as Shomex’ chief marketing officer, he directed the investment of millions of dollars in multimedia attendee advertising campaigns across the U.S.

Prior to Shomex, Cris was managing director of The Endeavor Group for three years, a marketing communications agency he founded which specialized in sponsorship/event marketing.  He also worked for The Interface Group where he started his career in the exhibition industry at the invitation of COMDEX founder, Sheldon G.
