Denyse C. Selesnick CEM

Denyse Selesnick was one of the first U.S. trade show organizers to recognize international opportunities.  Her company held the “first” international trade exhibition in Mexico City in 1975.  She founded her company in 1972 and was involved in both publishing and trade shows.

Since then her business activities have always included an international or ethnic element.  She has launched exhibitions in both the United States and Mexico; sold exhibitions, some to SISO members; helped to internationalize domestic trade shows through exhibitor and visitor recruitment; consulted with both Associations and for profit Trade Show companies on improving their international reach.  ITI also consults with foreign country trade offices and government agencies on their trade show activities.

Currently ITI is involved in activities in Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, and Pan Asia as well as the United States.

She has been a Board member for SISO for six years and currently serves as Co-Chair of the IAEE International Sub Committee on international best practices.  She was Co- Chair of the SISO Executive Conference for two years.
