The ASI Show

Mary Upton, CEM, CMP, Vice President of Trade Show Operations, The ASI Show, has been actively involved in the trade show industry for over 30 years. 

She produced Trade Show Top 200 shows for a not for profit trade association until 1998 when she became part of the team which produced, in less than 90 days, the first ASI Show.  Ranked in the Top 200 at its inauguration, after more than 25 shows, The ASI Shows continue to appear in Top 200 rankings.  Presently, there are five annual ASI Shows which are held in Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Chicago.  In 2006, ASI Shows launched 15 weeks of Road Shows, covering more than 60 cities across the US.

Mary has been an active member of IAEE (formerly IAEM) since 1976 and was a member of MPI for many years.  She also enjoys SISO.  Mary was a charter member, and served on the board, of EOS.  In 2003, Mary was honored to be voted Expo Group’s Show Manager of the Year in the 150,000sf+ category.  In 2004, she had the privilege of traveling to China to teach a combined CEM module for CCPIT in Shanghai.  She enjoys teaching IAEE CEM modules in the US.        

Mary loves to read and to travel (thank goodness). She and her husband, B.J., reside in Irving, TX.  Mary also commutes regularly to The ASI Show headquarters in Trevose, PA.  B.J. and Mary are proud grandparents to six boys and two princesses.
