Ted Hugger
Ted Hugger is president of Hugger Event Management, which he founded in 1994. The company’s first event was a boot-strap start-up in 2005: SAWLEX, a biennial, regional trade show for forestry equipment buyers with an in-woods, equipment-demonstration format. In 2007, the second edition of the show grew 44% to 112,848 net square feet, with an overall show footprint of just over 1 million square feet. In April of 2007, the company purchased a second biennial show, Fish Expo Atlantic, from Diversified Business Communications. Fish Expo Atlantic serves the New England commercial fishing industry. Hugger is also owner and founder of Hugger Communications, LLC, providing marketing services since 1994 to a variety of clients, including trade and consumer shows such as the International Boatbuilders' Exhibition & Conference (IBEX). Prior to forming his advertising agency, Hugger was director of sales and marketing for Diversified Expositions (now Diversified Business Communications).
