Dan Cole Dan Cole currently serves as Vice President of Sales and Business Development for the Consumer Electronics Association, producers of the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In 2005, he was recognized as Most Outstanding Sales Executive by the International Business Awards program. Prior to CEA, Cole was Vice President of Sales for Yellowbrix, Inc an Internet Company specializing in contextual content and commerce, where he built a nationwide sales team consisting of over 80 sales representatives. Cole served as Group Show Director for Advanstar Communications with responsibilities and oversight of six information technology trade show events prior to Yellowbrix. He oversaw Marketing, Sales, Registration and Public Relations for those events. Previous to his tenure at Advanstar, Cole served out his first assignment as Director of Sales for CES, after serving as a National Account Manager and Director of Business Development at National Trade Productions. Cole began his sales career at Lanier Worldwide as a top sales Representative and Manager for the country winning the President’s award every year he was in the field as well as when a manager. He, his wife and four children reside in Sterling Virginia.
