Cygnus Expositions Introduces Digital Components to its Award-Winning Public Safety Events

EMS EXPO and Firehouse Las Vegas deliver digital communications from sold-out
show floor, more to come

Burnsville, MN (November 13, 2006) – Digital delivery and content platforms are providing new and enhanced opportunities for Cygnus Expositions’ customers to reach larger audiences and for longer periods of time. In September, the company took the unprecedented step of co-locating the nation’s number one emergency medical services event, EMS EXPO, with a newly created fire and EMS component titled Firehouse Las Vegas. The result was a sold-out exhibit floor with over 7,000 emergency services professionals in attendance. In addition, Firehouse.com and EMSresponder.com, part of Cygnus Business Media’s Interactive division, used an enhanced technology infrastructure to post show reports on daily blogs along with streaming video that outlined training techniques and educational programs pulled from the conference program. Firehouse.com and EMSresponder.com are visited by more professionals than any other fire and EMS websites with over 700,000 unique visitors monthly.

Stay tuned for more online opportunities for public safety marketers ahead. In 2007, Firehouse World and Enforcement Expo will incorporate more digital components into their marketing offerings as well.

These were also posted on Firehouse.com and used to brand and sell products beyond the event itself. Video interviews with industry newsmakers offered perspective on timely issues.
