As President and COO from 2001 through 2003, Loggia led the efforts to enhance Advanstar's operating efficiencies by re-engineering key processes, strengthening product quality and focusing more attention on core businesses. President and Chief Executive Officer of MAGIC International since 1995, Loggia transformed the MAGIC Marketplace into the most comprehensive, largest and widely recognized apparel trade show in the world. Loggia then led MAGIC's acquisition and integration into Advanstar while maintaining MAGIC's position as the undisputed market leader of apparel trade shows. Loggia remains true to his roots and continues to lead, direct and oversee all operations for the semi-annual MAGIC shows, each of which encompasses more than 3,000 exhibitors showcasing 5,000 brand names to over 90,000 attendees from 80 countries. Before MAGIC, Loggia worked as a CPA with Coopers and Lybrand and spent ten years as a police officer. He is an active member of the Young President's Organization and is involved in fundraising efforts for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. A USC graduate, Loggia and his wife of 17 years, Debby, have three daughters - Talia, Katie and Emily. |
