Nancy Walsh

     
 

Nancy Walsh serves as executive vice president at Reed Exhibitions, Americas and is recognized as one of “25 Women to Know” and one of the “Top 100 Influential Leaders” in the trade show industry as ranked by industry magazine, Tradeshow Week. She oversees the core B2B and B2C business in the United States and Canada, continuing to report to Chet Burchett, president of Reed Exhibitions Americas.

Ms. Walsh currently manages one of the largest business portfolios at Reed that include market-leading events such as The JCK portfolio; SPA and MediSpa events; International Vision Expo portfolio; the wildly successful launch of NYComicCon in early 2006 and The Anime Festival in 2007, Global Gaming Expo, three food service events, the National Hardware Show® and Reed’s Canadian retail shows. In addition, she is responsible for driving new business via Reed’s Launch Pad, the incubator business development division, and the advertising and sponsorship sales departments.

During her tenure at Reed, Ms. Walsh has continued to deliver financial performance despite working in highly competitive industry sectors and often challenging external market conditions. She is often praised for her leadership ability and earns tremendous loyalty from her direct reports. She is credited for leading her teams to their full potential; not only for realizing financial goals but for developing their careers and advancing them professionally.

Currently, Ms. Walsh is affiliated with a variety of associations including the International Association of Exhibition Management (IAEM; now the IAEE) and serves as a Board Member for the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO). She is also active in several committees of  American Business Media.
