A Note from our CEO about the Leadership Conference

A Note from our CEO about the Leadership Conference

  • We are two months away!
  • I’m thrilled at how the programming has come together, virtually all of the Special Interest Groups are contributing newly developed programming.
  • Many of our speakers by design are gracing the stage for the first time, but among the returning speakers include both Ken Holsinger and Joey Graziano. Ken will bring us specifically curated SISO research and subsequent suggested actions. Joey Graziano has been quite busy as the Strategy/New Business EVP of the Indiana Pacers and the Indiana Fever. He reminded us a couple years back that “personalization can be scalable” which is a term I’ve used often with some of our smaller members. It will be interesting to hear the latest from Joey. And Indy perhaps a torn Achillies away from winning it all this year.
  • Our Wednesday luncheon will have several AI focused roundtables and an obligatory “quiet car” option as well, for those who just choose to eat.
  • Angela Scalpello is joining us for Women’s Leadership Forum. I believe most of us know her, but this is a big win for SISO for Angela to be with us.
  • Bookending our event—we have two events on Monday—a monument tour and a pub crawl. Arrive early and take part. On Thursday tours of the convention center and Lucas Oil Stadium. If you haven’t seen these, you should. Stay late and take part!
  • SISO produced programming at the recent UFI European Events Week and UFI will produce a session at SISO.
  • Fun fact 1—Kevin Durant was on stage at a member event, Fanatics Fest in NYC, when he found out he was traded!
  • Fun fact 2—OKC hosted 2022 Leadership Conference and Indy this year.

Suffice it to say, there is a lot going on, and this just scratches the surface of an exciting week in Indianapolis. Still plenty of time to make plans to attend. I suggest bringing a team as there is content for everyone.

If you haven’t signed up to sponsor, reach out Katherine@siso.org

If you need to register, reach out to Anna@siso.org

I promise you this will be a special week!
