30 September 2021 – The Joint Leadership Summit (JLS) of AEO / SACEOS / SISO / UFI - Singapore taking place from 5th to 7th October at the Fullerton Hotel, will see the first face-to-face meeting, since the pandemic began, of ASEAN government ministers, major global organisers, trade association leaders and tourism bureau chiefs to reinvigorate the region’s business events industry and reboot inter- and intra-regional business travel. -
January 8, 2021 - Atlanta, GA - The Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), the international body for companies who own, produce, or provide full-service management of events, have announced that the Virtual Events Institute (VEI) certified training program becomes an official member benefit discount to SISO members.
The mission of the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO) is to meet their members' common needs by providing peer networking opportunities, education, industry information, and best practices in the industry. VEI will provide an official discount to SISO members for its online education platform dealing with all aspects relating to the production, promotion, and monetization of online and hybrid events. -
Informa Markets, Clarion and Tarsus Band Together to Move February Fashion Shows to Orlando
09 Dec 2020Every winter in Las Vegas, buyers and sellers in the fashion industry typically converge for a week filled with a series of trade shows held throughout the city.
This February, however, due to the continued uncertainty organizers face on when they will be able to hold their shows in Las Vegas, three of the largest for-profit companies have banded together to move their events to Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center Feb. 9-11.

New GBAC STAR™ Facility Directory Helps Locate Facilities Accredited for Cleaning Excellence
