Beth Cowperthwaite

SVP, Communications, Emerald

Beth Cowperthwaite joined Emerald in February 2019 and currently serves as the SVP of Communications, leading the company's corporate communications and media relations strategy. She is responsible for sharing Emerald's story across all channels, including traditional PR, social media, thought leadership, employee communications, and company events.

Beth has 20 years of experience leading corporate communications, public relations, and business development for global organizations serving the exhibitions, fashion, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. Before joining Emerald, she served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Informa Markets, responsible for leading communication strategy and driving external and internal brand awareness.

Prior to Informa Markets, Beth served as Vice President of Communications and Director of Public Relations for UBM Americas (now Informa plc). She started her career at Business Journals, Inc., working there for nearly 14 years until UBM acquired it in 2016.
