Louise has had a 25-year career in events and media, initially having founded her own business Adam Smith Conferences, which she sold to Informa in 2004. She transitioned with the business and grew it significantly until it was divested in 2014, at which point she became a Board Member of Informa Connect with primary responsibility for new business development and M&A integration. During that time, Louise integrated many events and media businesses across a variety of sectors. In 2019 Louise then joined Plural Strategy Group, a boutique strategy consulting firm focused on the information industries, as Partner & COO, where she was involved in many commercial due diligence, growth strategy and integration projects for leading organisers and media businesses globally. She additionally had responsibility for the People, Marketing and Finance functions, implementing new processes and technology. Louise joined Turnmill, owned by Horizon Capital, in September 2024 to lead the M&A activity within the business, work with Founders on value creation and to structure the Group as it grows.
